In this industry, the product often takes the stage over the artists who create them. So, on behalf of myself and many creatives alike, thank you for being here and taking deeper interest in what I do.

My name Nate Sauer, the founder of N8 Sauer Photo & Film. I grew up in a small town in Oklahoma, where the world outside seemed like a distant dream. My understanding of the world came from the photos I’d see in textbooks and the scenes I’d see on the TV screen. I never realized the true size of the world and the access that I had to it until I picked up a camera and fell in love with imagery and capturing the rawness of things happening right in front of me.

It’s been 5 years since I bought my first camera with the enlistment bonus I received from joining the military. Since then, it’s been a roller coaster of hustle, creativity, and constant self-discovery. Capturing the beauty of life, whether it’s a fleeting moment or a grand event, became my way of connecting the dots between the sheltered life I knew and the vast world I was suddenly exposed to.

Today, as the creative behind N8 Sauer Photo & Film, I strive to bring ideas, concepts, and visions to life through powerful visuals. From the raw emotion of a wedding day to the dynamic energy of a live event, I am dedicated to creating images and films that not only capture moments but also inspire and move others.

When I’m not behind the camera, you can find me embracing the outdoors—running, hiking, and fishing, or deep in a good book/documentary. Creativity is a battery, and when mine is low these things are how I recharge and maintain it.

My ultimate goal in being a creative is to pay it forward to the art by using my passion for the camera to inspire others, just as I’ve been inspired over the years. I believe in the power of visual storytelling, and I’m committed to sharing that passion with every project I undertake. I’ve truly never found anything that makes me feel the way I do when I bring an idea, concept, or vision to life through the sensor of a camera.
